DSD Final Freebie-60% off my entire store!!!

DSD is winding down and with that goes my 60% off
store wide sale. Not to mention my $1.00 Sale of some of my older kits. Once this sale is over with these kits will be retired FOREVER!!!!

If you haven't bought Autumn Winds now is the time to grab it.

With the freebies you have been able to collect it will be an amazing collection for any outdoor activity.
Many of you may not know that I was a professional photographer before becoming a designer.I seldom do a LO that involves scenic pictures. BUT with this kit I couldn't resist scrapping some vacation pictures I took at Branson, Mo this past summer. This church is built on the resort property called Big Cedar/Wilderness Club which is owned by Bass Pro.

As I was photographing the church, several wanna be photographer were watching me.  I am a firm believer in using a tripod (especially for night time images).  I took each picture then looked at the image to see if it was what I wanted several of the people standing by asked "How did you do that?" I failed to mention that I had taught DSLR photography for 10 plus year at our local Vocational Technical School. Believe it or not I even wrote a book that I used for the class.

My book covered a large range of tips and tricks to taking good pictures. With that in mind I thought I could take question. Using the comment section at the bottom let me know what you would like to know.   We all scrap for the very reason of showing off our pictures. First of all your camera controls everything about a picture and knowing  how to use your camera and the location of all the buttons it takes to change the setting is the most important thing to learn!  Also it doesn't matter what type of camera you have there are tips and tricks to improve your pictures. My hubby and I are headed out to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I hope to come home with some beautiful pictures as I am rather rusty. We will see! If not I have an external hard drive full of images I have taken over the last few years. Just  a couple more shots that I took that day.
